073A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares M'dn Hdle
S. O'Callaghan, rider of Mind The Steps, trained by Norman Lee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly between the fourth and third last hurdle.
D. Meyler, rider of Alliteration, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around in the home straight.
073B BOYLE Sports (Mares) H'cap S'chaseThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bioluminescence, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils.
073C Blackrock College AFC Ladies Nat Hcp SchThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Harbour Highway, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
Miss J. Townend, rider of Kings Hill, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount suffered interference from the horse on her outside jumping markedly to the right at the second last fence. Having viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence had taken place, and therefore took no further action.
Anna McGuinness, rider of Choccabloc (GB), trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.
073D Tom Quinlan Electrical M'dn H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sine Qua Non (FR), trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards informed Sean O O' Brien trainer of, Seek A Richer Life who ran out at the fourth hurdle that a repeat performance may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.
073E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Nov. Hcap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gordon Elliott, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Sept Etoiles (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent run. Gordon Elliott stated that he could not account for the disappointing run in Thurles on the 18th of January when finishing last of 6 runners. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation offered.
P. Townend, rider of Fillyoureye, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free.
073F RYBO H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Kalix Delabarriere (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. David Casey, Authorised Representative for the trainer stated that the application of first time cheekpieces may have brought about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content. .
P. Townend, rider of Karbau (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Karbau (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Putapoundinthejar, trained by A.J.Martin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards having been withdrawn by the trainer (coughing) and reported the animal to be showing signs of some recent nasal discharge.
073G Irish Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat RaceMr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Voladora Nora, trained by John Andrew Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got very tired on the ground.
